I am a visual developer and world builder, and I consider myself skilled in the evolution of environments, characters, cultures, props, and finalized illustrations. There’s so much natural magic in the world that its hard not to use a sprinkle of it in every piece I create. I’m most at home when exploring the natural side of projects, but with my versatility I can pick up on anything very quickly. When I’m not digging deep into my work, I prefer to lose myself amongst the trees.

Grown from a seedling in the quiet river bend of southeast Indiana, Jeanette has always found wonder in the expansiveness of the natural world — and Bethesda games and Mojang’s Minecraft, of course. She has long worked at bringing the influence of nature’s majesty into her creations, seeing the bigger picture wherever she goes. It is through her attunement to herself and the world around her that she brings a uniquely colorful aura to the production of her work, striving to propagate a sense of enchantment.

Jeanette’s weapon of choice when creating is the emotive capability of color, which she uses to the fullest in every piece. Viewing her artwork as an extension of herself, she ensures that her visual development radiates with compassion, wonder, and ancient mystery, which makes her an excellent match for clients after an intuitive world builder. Working primarily in Photoshop, Jeanette weaves to life a visual story not only in her environmental explorations, but her character designs as well. With color theory, emotional intelligence, and an eye for beauty, she works ambitiously with her concepts until she feels they mesh seamlessly with the world around them. 

Her enthusiasm for worldbuilding and visual development sprouted from her long-time habit of wandering off into her own worlds until those worlds had their own identities. Her education at Savannah College of Art and Design only served to enhance her love for making pieces that her audiences can get lost in. Believing a close proximity to nature cultivates more informed artwork, Jeanette currently resides in the forests outside her hometown of Rising Sun, IN, with her family and seven cats.
